Flying Stars Energy in December
Flying Stars in Xuan Kong indicate the cyclical energy that is either permanently captured in a building or that which cycles through annually, monthly, weekly, and daily. As a Feng Shui practitioner I am generally more concerned with the resident and annual energies, but occasionally I refer to the monthly energy for specific occasions, or if a client is experiencing significant challenges.
One of the most potent of these energies is “Fire” which has an amplifying effect on the energy map…both positive and negative. The color of fire is red and the shape of fire is a triangle. Fire can also be represented by flashing lights or red lights. Hmmmm…sounds like a decorated Christmas tree doesn’t it? Red is such a powerful color that I recommend judicious use of it, holidays notwithstanding.
However, during this time it’s something to consider when you’re putting up your Christmas tree and decor. The directions in a building or room where you would want to avoid adding fire energy are the South, North, East, and Northwest. Good locations would be the Southeast, West, Southwest, and Northeast. If you can’t avoid placing your decor in the South, North, East, and Northwest of your home or room, consider these options:
The shape of the tree is the shape of fire, but it’s not as strong, energetically as color. If you don’t use flashing lights or red lights, the fire energy isn’t as prevalent. Also, rather than red ornaments and ribbon, opt for gold, silver, white, green or natural decor (pinecones, herbs, greens). Incidentally, since a fireplace is not generally lit for extended periods of time, it isn’t normally of concern. However, if you use a fireplace for warmth for several hours at a time, and it’s located in the South, Southwest or Center of your home, the effect can be mitigated with Earth energy. If it’s made of stone, ceramic tile or masonry, the Earth element is already in place. If it’s a metal fireplace, add sand to the bottom and gems, stones, or crystals in the decor.
Wishing you blessed and safe holidays!
